We ran our first online Employment Law Update last month. Those of you who’ve attended these in normal times will know they are twice yearly and packed full of all things employment law. Our online version was very well-received despite the usual technical challenges but we’re all agreed that we’d love our next one (usually in the Spring) to be ‘face to face’. You can’t beat the relationships generated and the networking opportunities created for everyone attending. Fingers crossed that this will be a real possibility in 6 months’ time.

We like to think the real measure of success (beyond the positive feedback) is what we’ve raised for our chosen charity, the Bridge Foundation. With ticket sales and our own donations, we’ve now been able to donate £2,552 to them so far this year. This will allow them to provide absolutely vital counselling and therapy services to children, parents, families and schools. This is critical work, which not only helps in the immediate term but which also has benefits for the whole lifetime of each child supported in this way.
Hot on the heels of our recent Legal 500 ranking, we’re just as excited to announce that we’ve also been ranked in Chambers and Partners 2021, one of the legal industry’s most prestigious rankings (and also the most notoriously difficult to crack). So, well done Team Menzies!
