It’s not too late to book up for our essential autumn training events!

As well as our ever-popular seasonal focus on the world of employment law in October’s Legal Update Seminar, we’ll be turning our thoughts to holiday headaches to come, in our Holidays & Holiday Pay Seminar. Controversial European decisions on the inclusion of commission, certain elements of overtime, allowances and bonuses in the holiday pay calculation, give  rise both to fears of the hike in the cost of holiday pay, and also of potential claims for back-pay stretching back as far as 1998.

This seminar will explore the potential impact for your organisation in more detail and help you to identify your likely exposure. As well as looking at the practical steps you can take to assess cost, we’ll provide you with the essential tools to plan your approach and manage your risk.

For our final event of 2014 we bring you our latest Masterclass, Effective Management of Disciplinaries & Grievances. This highly practical session is aimed at invigorating your policies, practice and ‘discipline culture’, to help you underpin good employee relations and minimise the risk of tribunal claims. As well as looking at the legal context and reviewing the latest case law we’ll address the strategic challenges of how to nurture competence in handling disciplinary matters across the organisation and how to put in place the right training and development to build capacity and effective processes.
