What do we already know?

We updated you in our April 2016 Newsletter Government reforms (1): Data protection – changing times… and our May 2016 Newsflash Data protection – changing times on the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which will replace the current EU Data Protection Directive and national data protection legislation. This will apply from 25 May 2018.

What’s new?

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has published clear and helpful details of what guidance on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) organisations can expect to receive: ICO Guidance: What to expect and when.  This guidance will be published on the ICO’s website ‘Data protection reform‘, available here.
