shared parental leave - man with childThe TUC has published a guide, available here, covering the rights that employers must provide to intended parents who are having a child through a surrogacy arrangement.

The guide includes information on:

  • time off to attend antenatal appointments;
  • adoption leave and pay;
  • paternity leave and pay;
  • shared parental leave and pay;
  • unpaid parental leave; and
  • emergency time off for dependants.
