Menzies Law is delighted that the Lord Chancellor has appointed our Partner, Anne-Marie Boyle, as an Employment Judge.
This is a well-deserved appointment for Anne-Marie, who has been practicing employment law since qualifying as a Solicitor in 1994. She is a critical member of the Menzies Law team, working closely with many of our valued employer clients as well as senior executives exiting their roles and businesses.
Anne-Marie has always sought to work closely with her colleagues, sharing her knowledge and expertise and helping others develop theirs. Luke Menzies was particularly pleased to hear of the announcement saying “From our first meeting over 5 years ago, Anne-Marie imparted her ambition to be a Tribunal Judge. I’m over the moon that she has succeeded in doing so and am well aware that relatively few Solicitors accomplish a judicial appointment. Anne-Marie is an extremely knowledgeable, decisive and experienced professional and will be a great asset to the Employment Tribunal. I’m especially delighted that she will be able to remain an essential part of our firm whilst serving as a Tribunal Judge.“
Luke went on to add, “Anne-Marie is the second of the Menzies Law family to be appointed to the judiciary, and this reflects the quality of our team and the quality of work we attract to our firm.”
Anne-Marie will have several months of training before starting her service as a Tribunal Judge but hopes to see her first cases in Spring 2022.
