Flexible working for all has been delayed. It was due to come into effect on 6 April 2014 but will instead be introduced later this year sometime. We shall let you know once there is a confirmed date.
The new extension of the right has been held up by delays to the Children and Families Bill.
In the meantime, ACAS has published its response to the consultation on flexible working for all employees, which includes a final draft Code of Practice and Good Practice Guide to assist employers in navigating the extended right.
