Seminar news: Spring Employment Law Update & Equal Pay

round-up1-250Spring Employment Law Update

We re-launched our legal update seminars back in the balmy days of October. The new half-day format, followed by a three-course networking lunch proved to be hit with delegates; as did the bottles of champagne we gave away in our prize draw. We’re now pleased to launch the second event in this series, our Spring Update, and we hope to see lots of you there. With the new government settling in and the appellate courts once again getting stuck in to some important employment law cases we’ll have a lot to talk about. As ever, the content will include all the hottest topics at the time of the update, but we can promise in advance that we’ll be covering important case law developments in discrimination and TUPE, changes to Trade Union laws and briefing you the incoming gender pay gap reporting obligations.

Equal Pay: How much will it cost you?

This half-day seminar will look in detail at the new Gender Pay Gap reporting obligations. We’ll give you the lowdown on the GPG ‘norm’ within different sectors and what factors might make your business a target for equal pay claims. Looking at practical examples of how pay disparities tend to arise, we’ll consider what you can do to close the gap without becoming vulnerable to a vicious circle of demands from competing groups of employees. We’ll also take you through the highly technical world of equal pay litigation, giving you the tools you need to understand the risks and address this key current threat with confidence and authority.
