Government reforms (2): Flexible working – new application form

We updated you in our May Newsletter Government reforms (1): True flexibility is here (nearly!)  that from 30 June 2014 the right to request flexible working would be extended to all employees with at least 26 weeks’ continuous service and that the statutory process would be simplified and replaced by a requirement for employers to handle requests in “a reasonable manner”.

What’s new?

The Government has published a standard form, available here, for employees to use when making a flexible working application under the amended statutory right to request flexible working.
