It’s June, so enjoy the month of warm, long, sunny days or, failing that, at least there’s Wimbledon on the television! It’s also been the month when a number of the Government’s reforms set out in Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 (ERRA) come into effect and we remind you of these and add a few more from the Government’s recently updated timetable. These reforms include the long-anticipated introduction of Tribunal fees and new rules, both of which we look at in more detail. Also, ACAS has produced its final version of the Code of Practice to help with the new settlement agreements. To finish off, our case update has a health warning about coming changes to redundancy collective consultation obligations and a case of particular interest to multi-site organisations, including schools and colleges.
