June 2013 news

wimbledonIt’s June, so enjoy the month of warm, long, sunny days or, failing that, at least there’s Wimbledon on the television! It’s also been the month when a number of the Government’s reforms set out in Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 (ERRA) come into effect and we remind you of these and add a few more from the Government’s recently updated timetable. These reforms include the long-anticipated introduction of Tribunal fees and new rules, both of which we look at in more detail. To finish off, our case update has a health warning about coming changes to redundancy collective consultation obligations and a case of particular interest to multi-site organisations, including schools and colleges.
