What do we already know?
In our December 2014 Newsletter Tribunal claims – still going down we let you know that statistics showed that for the period of July to September 2014 Tribunal claims had fallen by 61% compared to the previous year.
The number of Tribunal claims being brought continues to decline. Although the Ministry of Justice statistics for October to December 2014 show a slight increase in the number of claims in the previous quarter, Tribunals received 12% fewer claims than the same period in 2013.
However, the rate of decline appears to be slowing as in the previous quarter (July to September 2014) the Tribunals had received 61% fewer claims than in the same period in 2013.
