What do we already know?

In our June 2015 Newsletter Tribunal fees – decision coming… and our September 2015 Newsflash Tribunal fees – decision time, we updated you that UNISON’s appeal against Tribunal fees was heard by the Court of Appeal on 16 and 17 June 2015 and that the Court of Appeal dismissed UNISON’s appeal.

This was despite the Court of Appeal being “troubled” by the sharp decline in Tribunal cases thought attributable to the affordability of fees.

We updated you in our Newsflash that UNISON had said that it would seek permission to appeal to the Supreme Court.

What’s new?

It has been confirmed by UNISON that its appeal against Tribunal fees will be heard in the Supreme Court on 7 and 8 December 2016 so watch this space…
