Occupation Health consultation response

Occupational Health:

The Government has published its response  to its ‘Occupational health: working better’ consultation (available here).

This confirms the Government’s intention to develop a voluntary occupational health framework for employers which will set out the recommended level of OH services that employers should adopt to keep workers healthy.

The Government has also established a new Occupational Health Taskforce (to be led by health policy advisor Dame Carol Black) to produce this framework, which is expected to be introduced in mid-2024
